ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, forbade men to urinate in their bathing places and said , "Indeed, it is the source of most obsessions [about impurity]."1 Footnote 1: The person bathing may obsess whether or not he or she was soiled by some of the urine. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء فى التغليظ فى الكذب والزور ونحوه

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِى بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِى الْكَبَائِرِ قَالَ الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ وَقَوْلُ الزُّورِ. قَالَ وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرَةَ وَأَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.
On the subject of grave sins, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, mentioned, “Associating [anything in worship] with God, being undutiful to [one’s] parents, killing a soul (1), and uttering falsehood.” Footnotes: (1) i.e., killing a person, without legitimate right to do so.
